 | | DebL, Co-op Member | Love this place! We learned so much on the tour. We learned how the caverns were discovered. What formations are only found at their cavern. The tour is a little long for little kids, they get bored easily. Mom pr dad usually need to carry them. The steps at the end are a killer!
After the tour, you can purchase bags of rough to go sluicing. You can sluice for gems, arrowheads or fossils. My kids enjoyed the hands on with that one!
You can also picnic there. At the entrance, there is a playground and picnic tables. Very quiet area for a nice get away! |
