Description:In 1893, the average schoolhouse was little bigger than a typical classroom in a modern school. Students worked their family farm for several hours both before and after attending the school. Teachers not only taught, but scrubbed the floors and repaired the roofs. Oak Grove School is typical of schools from its era. Visit this old schoolhouse for free AND get a free gift!
