| Hike trails, have a barbecue and see the lions. Yes, there really is a zoo wrapped up in those 1,560 acres of recreational land. There are miles of trails, picnic areas, trout ponds, and animal exhibits, and an observation tower overlooking a portion of the animal exhibits and lush habitat. This a wanderer's paradise that attracts more than half a million visitors each year. |

My children enjoy being able to feed the animals in the petting zoo area. They really think it is cool when they get to feed the giraffes. We all enjoy watching the otters and the penguins. My kids can't wait to go back again. |
