 | | Sandi Patterson, Co-op Member | | This Aquarium is multi-leveled. Alot of information is given through the place. Go one line to their website before you go and print off the scavenger hunt questions ( answers are provided). There is something for every age. We watched one of their movies and watched an interactive session with divers in one of the tanks. The kids got to touch sea life in the tidal pool. Make sure you stroll outside in the gardens and go to the fossil dig. Younger kids will enjoy the dig.Pack a lunch and eat ouside on the boardwalk or nearby on Kure beach. And you might want to schedule time to see the Fort Fisher that you pass by on your way there. This all took us about 3 hours. A perfect afternoon trip or day trip if you live a couple hours away . |

 | | I Palmer, Co-op Member | | This is one of the best aquariums we have ever visited (and we've been to a few). North Carolina really knocked this one out of the ballpark! Hurry and visit - you won't be disappointed! |

 | | Caroline C., Co-op Member | | Terrific aquarium and absolutely free if you schedule your visit in advance as a homeschooler. The grounds are also very nice so you can easily plan a full day around this museum. |
