Built in 1855 as a suburban estate, this impressive Greek Revival house has survived war, neglect, and the immense growth of the University area and the Capital City. Abner Cook's masterful construction of the Neill-Cochran House Museum as an elegant residence on what was then the outskirts of Austin stands today as testimony to the talents of the designer.
