| Description: | Museums on the Boulevard (MOB) is a consortium of seven institutions stretched out along Richmond's Boulevard, a main north-south corridor. The seven institutions present a sampling of gardens, art, history, science and children's themes and include: The Children's Museum of Richmond, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Maymont, The Science Museum of Virginia, The Virginia Department of Historic Resources, The Virginia Historical Society, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The MOB works together in promoting collaborative efforts and creating a strong sense of place for the Boulevard and the surrounding neighborhoods, thereby enhancing Richmond as a tourism destination. |
