| Museums of Old York |
Visit Old York and explore nine historic museum buildings, a nature preserve, contemporary art gallery and restored gardens. Tour the properties, explore our collections, research your history or take part in our renowned education programs.
At Old York you will experience over 300 years of New England heritage while listening to tales of sea captains and their families, jailers, prisoners and others. You'll also see some of the most beautiful decorative objects and antiques preserved in America including the Bulman Bedhangings, the only complete set of 18th century American crewelwork bed curtains known to exist.
The Visitor Center is located at the corner of Route 1A and Lindsay Road in York Village. |

 | | S. Miele, Co-op Member | | The Museums of Old York was a great experience for my three girls, ages 6-11. They loved cooking on the big hearth, and enjoyed playing hoops on the lawn after a lesson in the old schoolhouse. The staff were very helpful and encouraged the kids to "experience" the time period through role play. We can't wait to go back this spring! |
