| Description: | The Museum of Natural History is Rhode Island's only natural history museum and is home to the state's only planetarium. It houses more than a quarter million (250,000) objects. Though many are of Rhode Island origin, they house specimens from all over the world. Public programs offer children many forms of discovery based hands-on learning, and exhibits, events, and attractions for all ages. |
