| Many permanent exhibits are displayed including artifacts on Florida History, the Life and Rituals of Africa, Chinese art, Cuban History of Art, and the Gallery of American art. In addition check out the Root family museum including the largest collection of teddy bears, coca-cola products and railroad paraphernalia. See a laser concert show at the Planetarium and don't forget to browse the museum store. |

As a public service to Volusia County residents, the Museum of Arts and Sciences offers free admission on the first Tuesday of each month. Free admission does not apply to special events or traveling exhibits which may be in process at the time of your visit. Proof of Volusia County residency required.

The children's section includes interactive displays, hands-on science experiments, and even a kid-sized pizza kitchen complete with ingredients, oven, aprons, and cash register. This addition to MOAS makes the trip worth every penny for your younger children. |
