| Description: | The MAC is located on US 23 Country Music Highway, which is certainly appropriate. This state-of-the-art venue plays host to national headlining acts from a wide range of musical backgrounds -- bluegrass, gospel, rock and of course, country music -- including many of Eastern Kentucky's favorite sons and daughters. What's more, the Mountain Arts Center is the home of the Kentucky Opry. The Opry's singers and musicians blend country, bluegrass, gospel and pop music with dazzling lights, costumes and mountain humor which will entertain the entire family. |
