 | | Cathy U., Co-op Member | This was an interesting tour. The guide was very informative and was gracious to answer the kids' questions...even the goofy ones. She brought the tour down to their level but also kept it interesting for adults.
They also offer homeschool classes about once a quarter. We attended the Indianapolis history class. It was informative and the kids had a good time learning because they did hands-on activities in addition to a short history lecture. For example, when considering what to name our city, there were many choices. The kids were split into groups and each group was given a possible city name. They then had to come up with why the city should be called this and what the city has to offer. After a few minutes, each group got up in front to present their ideas. Well worth our time and money to attend. |
