 | | Heidi N., Co-op Member | | This a a wonderful trip that starts out with a video explaining where chocolate comes from. It was very neat to watch! You then go on to a tour where you can watch the candy makers making the chocolate. You are behind glass for sanitary reasons but can see quite a bit. At the end you get a free sample and the tour ends in their store. Alot of fun! |

 | | Kim, Co-op Member | | This was a great field trip! The video was very informative, the factory amazing, and the chocolate delicious! :-) I would definitely recommend going to the Morley/Sanders Factory Tour! |

 | | Jan S., Co-op Member | | Great for a tour group. They explain the history of chocolate, how the beans are grown, what makes good and inferior chocolate. It was so interesting for kids AND Moms! The tour after that was really great too, and the smells alone were worth going! |

 | | Melissa M., Co-op Member | I have been on this tour as a group. I have read the positive reviews before submitting mine and we must have just been there on an "off" day? While it smells great and the idea of being able to tour a chocolate factory is enticing we were very disappointed. It seemed as though they may not have even been expecting us, but we had planned the tour in plenty of advance.
When we toured in front of the candy making window there wasn't anything going on. They pointed to a machine in the back no one could see and let us know there was chocolate coming out. Hmmph. We had poor customer service at the shop after the tour and over all it was a lot of hype for what it was.
Most of us in the group agreed that between the gas and time it was not worth it. I want this to be a great tour! It just so happened it was not for us. I hope if you go it goes better for you than us, but I just wanted people to be aware that it sounds amazing, but unfortunately wasn't for us. We were told that chocolate, contrary to popular belief does not make kids hyper! That was very funny to all of us.
Have a blessed day. |
