Facility:Moore House Museum
Description:The museum of the city of Lorain is located in the l906 Neoclassical Revival style home of former Mayor Leonard M. Moore. Museum displays include items belonging to Lorain's first mayor, Conrad Reid; lighthouses of Lorain; photo display of the 1924 Lorain tornado; exhibits on the industries and businesses, past and present of Lorain; a large calendar plate collection; and period fashions. Lorain research materials and photos are on site.
