| Description: | MAM's exhibition program is a broad landscape that serves and represents diverse audiences and creative interests. Each year, 20 to 25 solo and group exhibitions rotate through six state-of-the-art galleries. Check out Second Saturdays For Kids and Families - drop-in, hands-on, fun art workshops occurring from 10:30 am -12:00noon on the second Saturday of every month. Artini is a thought-provoking, hip destination on the third Thursday of every month at the MAM. It’s free. Artini makes the world of contemporary art fun, stirring and engaging—every event is themed based on the exhibitions and features live performance, (think DJ, contemporary dance troop, or a rock & roll band), educational experience (like an artist talk or drop-in art project), exceptional hors d’oeuvres (donated by generous local restaurants), a cash bar featuring a custom martini, and great company! |
