Description:Experience close-up the occupations, chores, and hobbies of everyday life in the 1800's, when American life shifted gradually from the farms to the factories. The Milan Historical Museum in Milan, Ohio, the birthplace of Thomas Edison, gives a one hour tour through the Galpin House which is the main museum building, the Doll & Toy House, the Carriage Shed, the Blacksmith Shop and the General Store.
