| Mammoth Cave National Park |
| Mammoth Cave National Park was established to preserve the cave system, including Mammoth Cave, the scenic river valleys of the Green and Nolin rivers, and a section of south central Kentucky. Beneath the sandstone-capped ridges of Mammoth Cave National Park lies the most extensive cave system on earth, with over 350 miles of passageway mapped and surveyed. And yet after 4,000 years of intermittent exploration, the full extent of this water-formed labyrinth remains a mystery. Join us on this journey. |

 | | L.Lindsey, Co-op Member | | I have visited Mammoth Cave many times and have enjoyed it each time. Most recently, our family went in early October 2010 and it was beautiful. Not only do you learn about the history of the caves, but also the history of the people long ago including slavery. All four of my children loved our day here and want to go back. There are many different tours to go on that can last from 1 hour to all day. This is a must see if you are going to be in the area. |

 | | Wendy Mote, Co-op Member | | My family and I love Mammoth Cave. With this field trip, you can cover physical education, science, reading, history, and math (counting stairs, patterns, etc). There are several different tours with each one offering a different aspect of the cave system. This is a must see for anyone in the US. |
