There is nothing particularly educational, though the kids will be motivated to run around a huge 3 story play space; you could possibly consider this an "indoor PE" option. (Especially in the months of 100+ degree heat!) But as a fun place to play, Makutu's is the best! Several of our kids have asked to go here for a birthday outing or as a reward for a special accomplishment. There is a giant tree in the center of the play space that has several slides from 1 to 3 stories tall twisting through it. There are walkways connecting the tree to another platform of tubes & walkways (similar to those at McDonald's but 3 times as big) and to a 3 story "Flintstone type mansion with several windows, hiding spots and ladders or slides within it. There are coin operated video games, a pizza area and a room where they periodically show educational videos or have activities or crafts. There is a really simple/not that great soft play area for those afraid of heights or under the age of 4. Makutu's is best for ages 5 - 13 in my opinion; kids those ages will play for hours.
