| Louisiana State Arboretum |
Every weekend the Arboretum holds a free event for adults and children, ranging from bird watching to learning about insects, reptiles, and trees. A calendar of events is available online. All events are free of charge and usually include a craft for children to make and take home.
The Arboretum also has many miles of trails in various difficulties, from paved walkways to marked trails through the woods. An excellent field trip for children of all ages! |
