| Description: | Welcome to Lotton Glass, the home of Charles Lotton and son, Daniel Lotton. Jerry Heer, Scott Bayless, and third generation Timothy Lotton together, form Lotton Studios. Begun in 1970, Charles with a dream and prayers decided to teach himself the art of glassblowing in his backyard. The first pieces were made out of old brown coke bottles and green Fresca bottles. Little could we forsee that his work today would span some 400 museum collections. Here Charles learned not only the skill it takes to manipulate the glass, but the study to formulate his own colors. Today, Charles creates some of the most breathtaking colors in the world of glass. Charles, joined by his son Daniel and family produce the most unique designs and colors in glass today. |
