| Facility: | Long Pond Ironworks |
| Description: | Founded in 1766, this iron operation was in continual use for over 110 years. Today, the site contains the ruins of 3 furnaces, numerous period structures, and acres of lovely grounds, snuggled next to the gorgeous expanse of the Monksville Reservoir. Both Historic District and Candlelight tours are held throughout the year. Reenactment encampments are periodically available. |
