| Description: | The Lithopolis Area Fine Arts Association (LAFAA) continues to bring a varied cultural program series to the area served by the Wagnalls Memorial Library. LAFAA was founded in 1973 to encourage the development of visual and performing arts in our community. Over the years it has sponsored art exhibitions, art festivals, awards to local artists, films from the classics, the annual Performing Arts Series, and Artists in the Schools workshops. The series programs and workshops have included light and serious drama, dance groups, mime, a puppeteer and a wide variety of musical events ranging from the classical to bluegrass. |
