Our family was most intrigued by the information on the Underground Railroad and the "secrets" found in the house. If you are studying the Civil War era, take your family to the Lemoyne House. You can also drive by the first crematory (not open for operation) in the US while you are in Washington. Started by Dr. Lemoyne, it is just a few minutes from the house. |
