 | | K. Deven, Co-op Member | | Legoland is an awesome fieldtrip. They have a gears and levers program which fits in nicely to the 3rd grade standards. Legoland is really geared more towards younger children (probably 12 and under). |

 | | Amy, Co-op Member | | I would agree with the other review, probably 12 and under for this park. We have been going for nearly five years and our children (11 and 7) are still asking to go again! It is nice becasue the park is small enough that you can split up and still make your way back to each other within about 10-15 minutes. My kids love so many aspects from the water park, to Miniland (detailed Lago versions of popular tourist sites across the country), to building their own Lego race cars to race on ramp tracks! There are rides, food kiosks (I recommend the pasta!), shows, 4-D movies, gift stores, playgrounds, water park, etc. When waiting on lines there are often areas where the children can build at Lego tables while the parents move up the line and then the kids can join you at the end! We love to stay at one of the hotels across the street so we can walk right into the park, and a few of the hotels even have private access entries! I have to admit that the newly opened Sea Aquarium right next door was a bit of a let down, but we live next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so that is a hard comparison to beat! :) |

 | | sue c, Co-op Member | | We thoroughly enjoyed this park! It is great for those families who need those 'in-between' rides (not too fast and furious but a bit more than kiddie) though it also has a few of the others too! The pirate ship water park was fabulous - we spent hours there alone! And the amazing things done with legos will astound you! Another feature we enjoyed was a lack of the crowds one would encounter at larger parks. |

 | | Mrs. Bryant, Co-op Member | | My family and I just had the pleasure to visit LegoLand this week. We loved it!!! Although, I agree that the amusement park is gear more towards children under 12, it's still a park for the whole family to enjoy. I particually enjoy the park because it is family orienten and educational. My husband like that the lines for the rides were not long and my two year old was ble to get on most of the rides, and when not, there was a play area for him to keep busy. My oldest son is 11 years old but I'm sure he'll be able to keep himself busy in the X-Box FamilyGame Space for hours, on our next trip. |

 | | Ann R, Co-op Member | We love LegoLand! My kids were approx 3,6,9 when visited. We have been twice and would go again! The park is laid out nicely and very clean.
There is a nice variety of rides for all ages from "tea cup" type rides for the younger ones to roller coasters for the older ones. There are water rides and dry rides. The water area has sprinklers and a splash pad type area so swim suits are advised if you want to go in this area.
There are shows and lots of hands on exhibits for younger kids and older kids can build in the brick haus or bionicle area.
The lego sculptures throughout the park are very entertaining and there are "photo ops" everywhere.
You can easily fill the hours of 10am-5pm that they are open.
The only con would be the food prices-very high but typical for an amusement park.
There was also an additional fee for mini-golf. |
