| Description: | See hawks, owls and other Missouri wildlife up close. Go on a hike along a marsh or glade. Learn about wildlife and wild places. Get involved in wildlife conservation. Or take an injured animal for emergency help? Lakeside includes an indoor nature center, outdoor trails, picnic areas. Meeting rooms, campsites and lodges are available for rent. Native Missouri wildlife includes owls, hawks, fish, turtles and oposuum. The center offers programs for all ages, birthday parties, homeschool science labs, scout badge workshops and summer camp for ages 6-15. |
