 | | Christine, Co-op Member | | For a small zoo, they wisely make the most of their resources. The homeschool classes are timely and engaging. The staff is absolutely wonderful!! They are patient, enthusiastic, and approachable. We have greatly enjoyed our many trips, and always manage to find something new to explore. |

Our children enjoyed the farm area where they could get close up along the fence to some of the animals. Inside the exhibit building, they enjoyed seeing one of the turtles that a zoo volunteer had out. She was sharing information about turtles and available for questions. They also have a small playground that younger children could play at inside the zoo area. Although they do have some large animals, at times they could be harder to see based on where the animal was in the cage/water area. In particular, the polar bears were hard to see. Overall it was a positive visit for our family and we probably spent about 2 hours at this zoo. |
