 | | whit g, Co-op Member | This is our favorite local place to go. It's just the right size for toddlers up to 10 or so. There is a small play area with nature based toys and puzzles. In the same room there are about 10 tanks with different types of fish and reptiles, some local to our area in Oho and others are for far away. There is a super neat wave pool in the far corner with lots of "Nemo" fish and other tropical fish and plants.
Outside there are many cages with local animals that have been hurt and rehabilitated. Bald eagle and deer are a few of our favorites. Fun pond with a small bridge is fun to run across. They also offer planetarium shows at different times for a small fee.
There are also plenty of woods in the back to explore!
All in all for the price (FREE, with an suggestion of a donation) its a great place to go on a sunny or rainy day!! |
