 | | Charlotte D., Co-op Member | | This is a fantastic place to take young children for an afternoon out. All exhibits are 100% hands on and are equally balanced between quiet and active play, as well as for interests that may appeal more to one gender or another. For example, they have a construction area directly adjacent to a pretend vegetable stand, and behind that area there is an art center and a book corner. Toward the back there is a gated section specifically for toddlers and younger. Also, they have a grant for free Sundays from 1-5, with free parking! I did not give it five stars because the space is fairly small and has only limited re-visiting value. This museum is appropriate for ages 6 and younger. |
