 | | Julie Bryce, Co-op Member | Rolling all around inside the Country Jewel Skate, my family and many friends were smiling all day! Every age gets a kick out of a simple day at a nice, friendly roller rink (my youngest is 3 1/2).
This is what we had planned as a homeschool group with our local homeschoolers getting a small discount per person. We also let each homeschooling family who attended bring along any friends, neighbors, or more family that they wanted to!
For a great late Winter, early Spring outing of fun, fellowship, and fast rolling bring the whole gang! Just a phone call a few weeks in advance gave the organization a heads up on the amount of people coming and with that our discount was easy with more than 25 people attending. So get into the swing of Spring with your legs and feet moving! All ya have to do is plan it and follow through - even if you don't skate on a regular basis - it is SO MUCH FUN!! The local rink that we visited even allows rollerblades AND they had walkers on wheels there for the very beginner skaters!!!!!
Give it a try: FUN for kids, FUN to watch, and FUN to get out some of that itch for "outside" activity!! |
