| Jost House |
| Built in 1768 during the founding and Loyalist settlement of Sydney, NS, the Jost house is a terrific snapshot of how people lived in the 1700s through to the early 1900s. A wide variety of artifacts from these eras help show how the people lived. Children will especially love the apothecary room. You can purchase some fudge for a snack. Your tour guide will be dressed in Colonial clothing and be happy to answer questions. Expect to spend approximately an hour unless your children are especially inquisitive. |
