 | | Gayle S., Co-op Member | | This is a "must-see" in PA History! We have done this field trip twice and enjoyed it both times. Just to see the background of the people living there, the terrain, and the causes of such a devastating and catastrophic event is beyond imagination without being there. We enjoyed the movie and the tour guide's knowledge f the course of events. We spent a lot of time in solemn contemplation around the Memorial Wall - reading the names of people and families who perished in the flood. The museum is wonderful. Walking through the town and understanding the mining business of the day is great too! |
