 | | Jennifer Z., Co-op Member | | Very homeschool friendly field trip. I signed my 4-5th graders up for the Circuitry class and they had a great time. A snap circuits style set was used to show how electrical circuits work, they were taught to read a simple schematic and follow directions, then given about half an hour to play with the set and experiment. Then a nice tour about the history of the microprocessor. Most exhibits are very kid friendly, and the tour guides very nice. Registration was super easy, they were waiting for us with a sign welcoming our group (which was nice with a bunch of homeschoolers coming from all over). The tour was about two hours and the minimum number of kids was only eight. |
