The Center provides a much-needed venue for exhibition, retail and studio spaces to support the work of local and national artists and to serve as a resource for artists, educators and the community at large. The Center’s major emphasis is on objects of art made primarily of fiber, metal, glass, clay and wood.

3) Language arts: providing materials for journaling or essays

Pros: free, opportunities for fascinating discussions with artists in residence, very friendly and welcoming staff, fun and unique traveling exhbits
Cons: very, very limited parking in the area
Cautions: adult supervision mandatory, carefully check open hours and if you want to see a particular artist find out when s/he is in residence working |
