Description:If you enjoy zoo trips, you'll want to add this to your family plans. Hollywild Animal Park has a number of educational opportunities and gives discounts several times a year on Home School Days. Some of their animals include the white rhinoceros, orangutans, Siberian tigers, African lions, North American black bears, ibex, watusi, Scottish Highlanders, Sicilian donkeys, green winged and scarlet macaws, Aoudads, turtles and more.

Be sure to take a ride on the Outback Safari. This is a one of a kind guided tour into 70 acres of free-roaming animals, many of which eat directly from visitor's hands. They also have a well stocked gift shop, concessions, large picnic shelters, (guests welcome to bring their own picnic), educational programs, birthday party pavilion, animal-feeding stations including "bottle babies".

Out of the way, but worthwhile, especially during holiday lights. Deer and zebras eat from your hand, even putting their heads inside your car windows. Pretty cool sight to see. Check out the camels and buffalo in the stalls too.

Hollywild has a different feel to it then most zoos. They have "famous" animals. Animals that were once in tv shows or in movies. The safari was fun and they had a great reptile show. My son is still showing off the picture we took of him holding the huge boa constrictor. It is a laid back experience.
