| Description: | This is GREAT place for homeschool support groups to plan an outing. The Hitchcock Center offers a variety of Community Programs for adults and children, which are designed to enhance environmental and scientific awareness through classes, lectures, field trips, camps, and community events. Programs are open to the general public, and are discounted for members. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and can be done by calling (413) 256-6006. You can spend a whole day here learning about the ecology, recycling, insects, simply walking the property and more! Check out the website for the programs they have in place and go see the property to get inspired for your own ideas. Even if you live a couple hours away, it is worth the drive! |
