 | | Brenda, Co-op Member | | One of our favorites! This free zoo is a great way to spend part of a day in Madison. They are constantly updating and improving, so there is usually something new every year. Call ahead and they will schedule a talk and activity by one of the zoo keepers for a homeschool group. The discovery centers are always popular with the kids. The location is great too - combine with a tour at one of the free UW museums and picnic at the lake for a full day field trip in Madison for next to nothing. |
