| Heckrodt Wetland Reserve |
| A 76 acre nature reserve with habitats including forested wetland, cattail marsh, open water, open field, and upland forest. The Reserve is home to many species of amphibians, reptiles, and mammals. The Reserve has a 4,000 square foot Nature Center with many indoor nature exhibits and Discovery room with educational books, puzzles, and many hands on nature activities. |

 | | Melanie G., Co-op Member | | We love to go here and have picnics in the summer. It is a great place to look for wildlife. We saw a groundhog and many different kinds of animal tracks. My 7 year old daughter loves to go snowshoeing here in the winter. Inside their building, they have wonderful displays. My children love their children's discovery room. They have lots of wonderful hands-on activities. |
