| Hatfield Marine Science Center |
| This facility is run by the Oceanography Department at Oregon State University. The visitor's center has many exhibits and usually a graduate student or two to answer questions. Oregon State's researchers as well as visiting scientists regularly schedule informal demonstrations and activities. The Science Center offers homeschool classes several times a year with various classes for pre-k through high school. Lots of hands-on experiences with clams, tidepool animals, estuary, and more! |

 | | Rhonda Traister, Co-op Member | | We took classes here with our homeschool group and they were fantastic! Lots of hands on in the classes, dissecting squid and fish, sorting clams, touching tide pool animals, and digging for creatures in the sand. An educational and enjoyable experience! |

 | | Courtenay Milburn, Co-op Member | | This was great. There was so much information, tons of exibits, many hands on stations. Personally I enjoyed this more than the aquarium, and its FREE. We all highly recommend this center. |
