| Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster |
| A place to discover. A place to experience. A place to have fun. A place to learn. Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping kids learn and making sure they have lots of fun in the process. The museum is designed for children ages 2-10 years. At Hands-on House, adults and children play and learn together. Our philosophy of childhood learning is simple: it lasts longer if it’s more fun, and it's more fun if it includes doing. Our exhibits, classes and programs are short on lectures, and long on interactive, participatory activities. |

 | | Jane, Co-op Member | | Great experience for 5 of our children ranging in age from 2 - 13. Lots of activities to keep them busy and while they were "playing" it was a great learning experience for them. We knew we'd be going back so we purchased a membership |

 | | Edy Sarnoff, Co-op Member | | A nicely done children's museum with lots of different activities in different fields like nature study, physics, fine arts, but very indepth with the argicultual industry. We liked the mini-grocery store and post office as well as the back-yard entry complete with animal noises and tree house. They have special programs that are listed on their website. There's a nice exploring garden outside where one might have a picnic. Homeschool Days at The Landis Valley Museum next store was wonderful as well. |
