| Description: | The GEHC was created with the goal of educating a new generation of students about the region's precious natural resources. The facility offers a wide array of sustainable design strategies and educational programming for science and nature, environmental education, passive recreation, and cultural exploration. Exhibits include Discover H2O, a colorful, hands-on water learning lab crammed with kid-friendly wet activities; WaterWays, an interactive heritage exhibit; the Blue Planet Theater, an exciting, multi-sensory presentation; and Rivers to Reefs highlighting Georgia's river and coast critters. |
