Summary:Are you Crazy 4 Math? If so, you'll find all kinds of FREE and fun math activities to enjoy at today's website! Not only that -- you can share some of your own cool ideas and win a prize
Description:Today is the last day to get in on the annual Crazy 4 Math Contest developed by the founder of Googol Learning, Susan Jarema. The Crazy 4 Math contest was founded to help students who adhere to a traditional school-year calendar, to keep up their math skills over the summer. "It's also a chance for them to discover that learning happens all of the time, not just in school," wrote Susan. This year's contest is themed around social responsibility and caring for the environment.

One of the sponsors of the contest is David M. Schwartz. You may recognize him as the author of popular children's books themed around math, such as "How Much Is A Million?" David said, "The connections between mathematics and the environment are countless, and it inspires me to see children discovering some of them. It's good for the planet and it's good for the kids!"

To enter the Crazy 4 Math Contest, children simply have to describe how they use math in an activity they enjoy. Entries must be submitted online by July 30th -- today! THE GOAL IS TO GENERATE A FREE LIST OF MATH LEARNING IDEAS to inspire families and teachers. There are hundreds of great entries posted from previous years and you can check out and vote online for your favorite entry this year.

So, even if you don't enter the contest this year, you can still benefit from the contest by checking out the wonderful math learning suggestions archived at the site! You can use it to enhance your math curriculum all year long!

If you need incentive to post your idea today, consider this -- everyone wins something! This year, all participants will receive several MP3s from Googol Power's inspirational music and a certificate; finalists and winners will win much more. The most important thing is for children and families to share ideas and find new ways to discover math all around them. So, what are you waiting for? Head to the site now!
