| Description: | Jr. Gemologist Program Gemology, mineralogy and geology are taught in an inspiring, entertaining way by GIA instructors and members of the gem and jewelry industry. The material is presented in an interactive scientific workshop that incorporates hands-on-training with the tools of the trade. Children use loupes and microscopes to study gems. They also take home a colorful gemology book, a GIA souvenir pencil and a special gift: a real gemstone! |
