 | | G. Rake, Co-op Member | My children and I have done this field trip several times with our homeschool group and we have enjoyed it each time. The tour is informative and fun and at the end each student receives a goody bag which includes a little loaf of bread. There is an participant minimum age limit of 7, and group size is limited to 40, but there is a visitors area with some simple hands on activities for younger ones, and as long as they are supervised, younger siblings are allowed to wait there. The tour last about 1 hour which includes a short talk detailing the history of the company and includes some interesting information about the farm to market process of grain.
Overall this is a very educational, in a fun way, tour and I highly recommend it. |
