| The Fort Collins Municipal Railway Society (FCMRS) works in partnership with the Fort Collins Museum to operate the Fort Collins Municipal Railway, presenting a living history of electric public transportation in Fort Collins. They preserve, display, operate, and interpret streetcar service, and collect artifacts and information of an educational nature and of significance to the City's electric railway. The 3-mile round trip between City Park and Howes Street (downtown) on Birney Street Car 21 takes about 1/2 hour. You are sure to love this amazing history tour. |

 | | C. Webb, Co-op Member | | We had never been on a street car and just loved the Birney. We took the grandparents and all loved it from the 3 year old to the grandfather. It's a short trip, but just about right for the little ones. A bit bumpy, but worth it. You are given a full history along your route. We hope to return sometime soon, as the 9 yr. old has just asked to go again. |
