The Florida Museum of Natural History is a very well designed museum. As many times as we have visited the museum, we still are seeing new things. The exhibits are designed so that you can go through the whole museum or see the exhibits in parts. There are many "hands on" activities that will keep the children (and adults) engaged.

Be sure to find out what the traveling exhibit is and plan on visiting that as well. The traveling exhibit usually has a separate cost for admission. There are picnic tables outside for a packed lunch. And don't forget to visit the butterfly rainforest.
