Filoli

Description:

With its beautifully-preserved Georgian Revival house and magnificent gardens, Filoli is a rare and historically-important example of an early 1900s country estate.

Filoli serves thousands of school children and teachers each year through three curriculum-based programs: Nature Education Hikes (Grades 2-6), House and Garden Tours (Grade 4) and Native Plants/Native Ways (Grade 4).

Filoli's Holiday Traditions Visions of Sugarplums Dancing - Annual Nine-Day Fundraising Event at Historic Site in Woodside November 26 through December 4, 2010.

A good place for field trips. A wonderful and well-preserved house with breathtaking gardens. A great place to go during the spring when the flowers are in bloom...BUT if you go in December, right before Christmas, it is beautifully decorated, and they have Christmas concerts (local choirs sing there).
I am giving it only 4 stars because of the price.
