| Eudora Welty House |
| The Eudora Welty House is a National Historic Landmark and one of the nation's most intact literary house museums. It is the ideal place to learn more about the life and works of Eudora Welty, one of Mississippi's most celebrated writers. This is a rich, interesting experience that will mainly benefit older students who have read Welty's works. The house is in a beautiful, historic neighborhood and is near Belhaven University, making it an ideal stop while touring the school. |

 | | D. Germany, Co-op Member | I grew up reading Ms. Welty's books. As a girl born and raised in Mississippi I was fascinated by authors and artists from Mississippi.
Visiting her home and seeing the place where you found her inspiration to write was such a treat. It is definitely a "must see" place to visit when studying great American authors or when studying Mississippi history. |
