| Description: | Erskine Caldwell was born in the frame house in 1903. He wrote more than 50 books, including "Tobacco Road,""God's Little Acre" and "Georgia Boy." The museum collection includes books by and about Caldwell, photographs from various periods of his life, art from book covers and dramatizations of Caldwell stories and items that belonged to Caldwell or his parents. |
