| Emerald Farm |
Emerald Farm - "A very special place." See the lush herb gardens, pet the friendly animals, plan a picnic, watch the miniature train city boom with life or visit one of the cozy shops. Children can learn about real farm animals and get to touch and pet this farm's most valuable friends, becoming aware of how they contribute to our lives. Emerald Farm is also where their famous GOAT MILK SOAP is made.

 | | Patricia, Co-op Member | | In my opinion, Emerald Farms is a super field trip any way you look at it. But we found it especially interesting to see all the products they made with the goat's milk. I think this is a great place to take children who may not otherwise experience a glimpse into any type of farm life. The people were very kind. We were allowed to wander about a bit on our own but there was also time for supervised information. The train ride was quite obviously a big hit with all the kids. The various animals and nature walks were great. They had a nice little area where we could spread out our chairs and blankets for a picnic lunch and allow the children to play on the playground area. Even some of the kids who may be a bit tougher to impress had a blast. Would definitely go again and would recommend. |
