Facility:Eckley Miners' Village
Description:Eckley Miners' Village was an original anthracite mining town that is now a museum devoted to the everyday lives of the anthracite miners and their families. It is located nine miles east of Hazleton, Pa., off Route 940.

Eckley Miners' Village is part of the Anthracite Museum Complex, which includes the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum and Scranton Iron Furnaces, Scranton, and the Ashland Museum of Anthracite Mining, Ashland. The Anthracite Museum Complex is administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.

Hours:Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. The museum is closed New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Presidents Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Admission:$4.00 for adults, $3.50 for senior citizens, $2.00 for children ages 6 to 12.
