| Eagle Hill Equine Rescue |
| This is a local community service center where students and other youth groups can volunteer by helping and learning about horse care. They are supported by several 4H groups, Boy and Girl Scout troops, and the Quantico Junior Marines and were visited more than 60 times, in 2008, by local school systems. By sharing the caring stories of these horses, they enlist the next generation to help eliminate the needless suffering of all equines. Throughout the year they hold many free clinics to educate the public on proper nutrition, health care, natural training methods, hoof care and other points of interest to help teach the public how to help horses reach their true potential both physically as well as emotionally. |
